Walt: write for an audience

On Sunday we went to the market. I saw Michelle and her dad. She looked so pretty and gangster with her hat. We went to the A.M.I netball court one. We always go there to buy donuts and mayonnaise. It was so yummy.

Then after we finished we went and drove up the mountain. But we were still eating. We never got into trouble by the police. When we went up the mountain it was packed. So we went to another mountain. It was still cool though.

Chocolate Game:
The Chocolate game. On the 27th of October in 2015 we played the chocolate game. We all had to roll one dice at a time. All the boy’s and all the girls’ had a turn each. It was played  at Point England School. In class 7 Mr S first day back we played the Chocolate game for 15 - 20 minutes.

Rule’s
Mr Somerville said that the rule’s are you can’t pick the Chocolate up with your hands. He avetchele said to pick it up with the knife and fork. We had to roll a six to eat a bit Chocolate. One rule was important. It was about sitting in the circle to take turns. If we roll the dice far.

Cutting/Eating Pieces
The third thing is that we had to cut the Chocolate with the knife or fork. When it was my turn I got Chocolate on the floor. A boy called Billy and Zack had most of the Chocolate to their self. It was so funny because when someone went up another one went up. After that when Zach went up he eat six and there were six left to eat. Before that junior went up and he got 4 - 5 turns.

Conclusions
At the end we were all laughing. Mr S was having a bit of a laugh. We were saying thank you.

Butter Chicken

I like Butter Chicken because I know the right recipe. But it can be a little yuk when you eat one piece of chicken and then eat another one you’ll feel sick in your stomach. Butter Chicken is my whole family’s favourite food. Butter Chicken has Chicken, Chicken Sauce, Herbs and spices. It is so yummy with heap and heaps of sauce. I like it because you get heaps and heaps of food.
I eat Butter Chicken with naan bread. Naan bread is so delishous. If you have Butter Chicken with any single bread it will make you have a fuel and yummy tummy.

Being Kind to Someone

Being kind to someone means you have to be kind to them and talking gently to them.

When someone is new you have to treat them good because when you are new you dont know lots of staff we do at our school.

When your teacher is gone and you have a reliever don't get angry at her use your manners and talk sensibly to her. Sometimes they can be a little bit hard on you so don't get angry just say our teacher told us to.

Be happy, joyful, and grateful. These emotions rest at the heart of kindness, allowing you to see the good in others and the world, enabling you to press through the challenges, despair, and cruelty you witness and experience, continuously restoring your sense of faith in humanity. Maintaining an optimistic attitude ensures that acts of kindness are committed with genuine joy and cheerfulness rather than with reluctance or out of a sense of duty or service. And keeping your sense of humor ensures that you don't take yourself too seriously and take life's contradictory and contrary moments with good faith

Mr Somerville

Dear Mr Somerville we really miss you. Can you  bring the baby just for a visit. we were thinking about it we really want to see the baby. Message me if you are allowed. Maybe you can bring it when your free. Try bringing your wife along to.

We all love you Mr Somerville and really really miss you. You are the most popular teacher in the school. You, Miss Lavakula and Mr Goodwin. You give us easy work to do. But most of all you make them run instead of the 10:45 readers. We all wish you the best.

Mr Somerville we hope you have fun with your wife and you little baby.

XOXO

Team 4 Trade Fair

Trade Fair
Walt: add one main idea per paragraph

This term we are learning about Trade and Enterprise. Trade and Enterprise is about selling our products that we make. We got broken up into 6 different groups to learn about what it takes to become a business man or woman. This term we need to make sure we sell our products and earn enough money so that we make a profit.

As part of our terms topic we had a Trade Fair. A Trade Fair is like a market where you get to take orders from people for your products. They ask you how much is it and you say what you named your price.

For the trade fair my friends and I have created Something like a Minion Toss we created 2. I was selling my Toss for 2PT. She was selling her one for 1PT and 50 pieces.

Our Teachers created a bank account for all of the Year 5&6s. If we get money we could ask teachers to bank it for us. They say if we lose it we won’t get another one. We can only bank it at morning tea or at lunch.

I’m really excited about our market day coming up in week 8! We are hoping we make lots of PTS and Pieces. We were selling our products and buying other people’s products. If you are around Point England School please come and support them.

Exponents Followup Term 3 Week 1

WALT: Solve number problems by using more than one strategy.

I have learnt about place value and tidy numbers. This is how I did it. I did it by 34 + 58 = 92 - 58 = 34. On my other one I did this 81 - 105 = 24. 81 + 24 = 105. 1+ 4 = 5. 80 + 20 = 100. 100 + 5 = 105.
