WHAT DOES BEDMAS STAND FOR??
What does BEDMAS stand for?
B stands for Brackets
E stands for Exponents
D stands for Division
M stands for Multiplication
A stands for Addition
S stands for Subtraction

What is BEDMAS?
BEDMAS is the order of the problem.
All of these have to go in this order because that’s how you solve problems.

BEDMAS PROBLEM
(8 x 4) x 2 - 13 + 6 ÷ 2 = 54
(8 x 4) = 32
6 ÷ 2 = 3
32 x 2 = 64
13 + 6 = 19
2 - 13 = -11

Area
WALT: Find the perimeter and area of a rectangle
This week we have been learning about maths problem between a Area and a Perimeter. The difference between the numbers are actually really similar but the only thing is that you have to double the Area number to get to the Perimeter number.

Walt: Use more than one strategy to solve multiplication number problems

This is how I got my by using division and multiplication. 56 divide by 7=8
56 divide by 8=7 and then 8x7=56 7x8=56. That's how I got my answer.
