Flounder Blog Post
On 27th of September on Wednesday Pt England School kids went to the courts to do a fast meet up with everyone ( Yr 1,2,3,4,5,6 ). We had to walk down to this place where there was a dead end and on the side of the dead end there was a pile of grass and heaps of mud. When we where walking through the mud our shoes started to get wet, But as we keep on walking along we saw people in the water was trying to catch baby Flounder. All the student's where wondering why are they trying to catch baby Flounder?. As soon as we all got there only the year 7's and 8's where the only one's left to go into our line's, But as soon as we got there they had already started the Waiata so all of the year 7's and 8's had to squish in the back. As soon as we finished all of the Waiata's ( Ko Te Whaea, Ko Te Aroha Anoa ) than we headed back to school and in class, But as we where walking in that big pile of mud and grass the mud and grass got inside our shoe's and made them wet, Soaked so we had to take our shoe's of when we got back to school.
